Review: Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic Campaign Guide
nuketown Reports: One of the challenges of running a Star Wars campaign is finding a way to incorporate plenty of Jedi and their Sith nemeses without tearing asunder the canonical Star Wars timeline. The Expanded Universe has helped with this, providing a number of Dark Apprentices to serve as fodder for Jedi who some how escaped Palpatine's murderous purge. The rise of the New Jedi Order helps as well, but even then the Sith "Rule of Two" ties the hands of GMs looking to unleash their own Dark Lord on the galaxy.

War Plan Pacific enjoys shore leave before shoving off
AnnetteBrooks Reports: The date was fast approaching for War Plan Pacific to set sail and all hands-visuals and audio, artificial intelligence, single player action-had reported in except for good ol' hard partying network play. Seems that network play was having a little to much fun down at the watering hole and no matter how many shore patrols came down there to crack skulls and drag it back, network play held out for a little bit more fun. When it finally staggered back to the S.G. War Plan Pacific the date of opportunity had been missed. A new date was quickly established, a date not too far off...

Eight Questions with Pinata Games’ Jake Theis
Joyce Greenholdt Reports: Interview by Abe Sargent
Topps' announcement that it was closing WizKids Games put WizKids’ stable of game lines into limbo. Arguably its best-known franchise was the HeroClix line, one of the best-selling collectible miniatures games since its initial release, and it wasn’t long before a fan-based movement to save HeroClix got started on the internet.
