Free CSUAC mapping art available again
Other Game Publishers MarkOliva Reports: The CSUAC collection of free mapping symbols and fill graphics is available again with more than double the number of objects offered in the first release. In all, 5,600 objects are included. The CSUAC is an art collection created by users of the Dundjinni mapping program and compiled by Cecil Solomon of the Gamemaster's Apprentice web site. The graphics also may be used at no cost in commercial RPG maps and dungeon plans.

Monte Cook joins Pathfinder RPG team
Paizo Publishing Joyce Greenholdt Reports: Paizo Publishing, LLC has annoounced that Monte Cook, the co-creator of Dungeons & Dragons 3rd Edition and author of the Ptolus campaign setting, among other works, has joined the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game team as a rules consultant.

"This is going to be a lot of fun," said Cook. "Pathfinder is a fresh spin on a rules system that I love and the guys at Paizo are great to work with. They produce nothing but the highest quality products."

Troll and Toad purchases $150,000 Fonarow Collection
Industry News An Anonymous Reader Reports: The Fonarow Collection is one of the largest private collections of board games known to exist, and includes several one-of-a-kind items, short print run games, concept games and other rarities. The collection consists of over 20,000 games acquired for $150,000. The collection was attained from Ken Fonarow, aka “The Weekend Warrior”, who has been an avid collector for over 35 years and also ran the Gen Con and Origins Auctions for several years. This collection includes many unique items such as handmade playtest kits (the initial design of a game before it is actually made), the first or second actual copy of some games, signed games, games from the personal collection of Charles Roberts (founder of Avalon Hill), games with only 2-5 known copies in the world, and shrink-wrapped perfect copies of some of the most valuable board games in the world.

Highmoon Media Productions will act as a design studio for Green Ronin, performing the conversion to True20 of all the game material—done by True20 fan-favorite author Matthew Kaiser—as well as producing the finalized version of the product.
